Southerly Designs director John Fitzhardinge started out designing fishing vessels for the West Australian rock lobster fishery 20 yesars ago. These designs soon set the standard for what is recognised as the standard "WA Crayboat" and with constant refinement to take in the best of new ideas & technologies Southerly Designs can offer a proven vessel for the fisherman.

We have also designed a numberof vessels for deepwater line fisheries, crabbing and fish farming, and have the experience to custom design for any application.
